In 2005, Keller Williams associates held pancake breakfasts, organized auctions and ran yard sales to raise more than $800,000 for KWCares.  Through this generosity of time and spirit, our charity provided financial assistance associates, helped rebuild homes in Florida following the hurricane disaster and supported the needs of people battling critical illness.

When hurricane Katrina struck the Gulf States Region, it took the entire network of KW Cares to come to the assistance of those whose lives, homes and businesses had been struck by nature’s deadly force.

Within hours, the Heart 2 Heart program was launched, pairing market centers and associates who had been touched by the hurricane with market centers who could help.  Not only was direct financial assistance delivered, but powerful friendships were formed, and the better purpose of business became an example for all.

Founded in 2003, KW Cares, a 501 (c)(3) public charity, raises and distributes funds to provide financial assistance to members of the Keller Williams family facing hardship due to unexpected emergencies.
